Isramart : Greening Your Travel: Carbonfund.org’s Eric Carlson on NPR’s WAMU Kojo Nnamdi Show

Isramart news:
The president and co-founder of the nonprofit Carbonfund.org, Eric Carlson, was a guest today on WAMU-FM’s Kojo Nnamdi Show to discuss green travel for the holidays. He was on the first half hour along with Nancy Young, Vice President of Environmental Affairs for the Air Transport Association.

It’s no secret that a person’s carbon footprint is affected by how and where one travels. For many people this holiday season, planes, trains and/or automobiles are needed to be with family and friends.

Carbonfund.org, whose motto is Reduce What You Can, Offset What You Can’tTM, encourages everyone to take responsibility for travel-related emissions when traveling. By supporting quality, third-party validated carbon reducing projects, a person can mitigate his or her carbon footprint from traveling.
