Isramart: Hybrid bikes to reduce carbon footprint

In line with its commitment to environmental sustainability, a leading logistics and transportation solutions provider Aramex, has announced the introduction of a new range of bikes, incorporating the latest innovation in hybrid technology to its operations in Lebanon.

The company said the launch is in line with its commitment to environmental sustainability and the new hybrid bikes will be utilised by the company’s couriers across all stations in the country.

It said the move is part of Aramex’s ongoing efforts to reduce carbon emissions, while incorporating specific techniques and measures that lessen the impact of its operations on the natural environment.

Asmahan Zein, Aramex Country Manager in Lebanon said the initiative underscores the company’s focus on finding solutions for a greener world and protecting the environment.

“Technological innovation has made it possible for us to significantly reduce the amount of vehicular emissions, in addition to increasing fuel efficiency and improving overall performance,” Nicolas Boukhater GM of ANB, Aprilia’s authorised dealer in Lebanon said.

“Aprilia’s line of latest hybrid bikes makes optimal use of these technologies, while improving overall safety and riding pleasure, making them a perfect match for Aramex,” he added.

“Today, technological innovation has made it possible for Piaggio’s MP3 hybrid to significantly reduce the amount of vehicular emissions, in addition to increasing fuel efficiency and improving overall performance,” said Nicolas Boukather, Executive Director of A.N. Boukather SAL, exclusive distributors of Piaggio group products in Lebanon.
