Isra-Mart srl news:

PRIME Minister Julia Gillard has played down Tony Windsor's claim that her government doesn't have the numbers to pass its carbon tax.
The government wants a carbon price from July next year and has promised more than half of the revenue will go to households to compensate for prices rises for items like power and groceries.

But Labor needs the support of the Greens and independents to pass the legislation in parliament and independent MP Tony Windsor appears to have already thrown a spanner in the works by saying he might not support the plan and it's possible there may not be a carbon tax.

Ms Gillard, however, says it's been known that Mr Windsor won't commit to anything until the details are presented.
