Isramart : Kendal firm given grant to reduce carbon output

Isramart news:
A KENDAL firm has been given £22,800 to make it more efficient.

C Nelson Sheetmetalworks has been given the money by the Northwest Regional Development Agency as part of its ‘Grant for Improving your Resource Efficiency’ scheme.

The money will be used to buy a new folding machine to reduce power consumption and waste material.

As well as creating one new job the firm will also cut its carbon output by 170 tonnes over 20 years.
