Isramart : Carbon Trust call attracts 29 emitters

Pacific Carbon Trust attracted 29 proposals to its most recent call for carbon offsets, the B.C. Crown corporation announced on Monday.

The trust said the total potential volume of greenhouse gas emission reductions available from the Oct. 5 call is 400,000 tonnes by 2011 — although successful bidders must conform to the provincial government’s emission offset regulation, and make it onto a short list of final bidders.
